Cuttack: Part of the roof on Platform 1 at Cuttack Railway Station collapsed on Wednesday afternoon during ongoing redevelopment work, resulting in disruption of train services.
Debris from the collapse blocked the railway tracks, causing delays on Platforms 1 and 2.
According to the East Coast Railway (ECoR), the incident occurred at 3:45 pm when an old wall adjacent to the platform gave way. Railway Authorities confirmed that the redevelopment work was being conducted with all necessary safety protocols in place.
