Rourkela: Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids at five places associated with Assistant Collector of Rourkela, Manoranjan Nayak, based on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
Separate teams of the anti-corruption wing comprising of one Additional SP, four DSPs, five Inspectors, and other staff, on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh, are conducting searches at the following places.
(i) Residential Building (double storyed) vide MIG-II-27 at Phase-III, Chhend, Kalinga Vihar, Rourkela
(ii) Residential Building (Triple storyed) vide MIG-II-264 at Phase-III, Chhend, Kalinga Vihar, Rourkela
(iii) Office chamber at Rourkela
(iv) Residential house of a cousin located at Dhanurjayapur, near Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur Road, Dist- Jajpur
(v) 3 BHK Flat vide No.215, Block-E, Acropolis Apartment, Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar.
Meanwhile, the search is in progress.
