Rourkela Plane Crash: All 6 Admitted To ICU; Commerce & Transport Dept Monitoring Situation

Bhubaneswar: All six occupants of the aircraft, including two pilots and four passengers  of the small aircraft of a private airline that crash landed in Rourkela, have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of JP Hospital in Rourkela, the Directorate of Aviation, Odisha, said in a press release issued on Friday evening at 5.15 PM.

Of the six, five are reported to be stable and out of danger, while one patient remains under observation.

The Commerce and Transport Department, along with the Directorate of Civil Aviation, is closely monitoring the situation. Senior officials are in constant coordination with hospital authorities to ensure proper medical care and timely updates.

Medical management at JP Hospital is being overseen by Dr. Chandan Bansal, Managing Director of Jaiprakash Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited, along with Ms. Tundra Mishra, Corporate Relations Officer. A dedicated team of doctors is conducting thorough medical evaluations, and all patients are under strict medical supervision.

The authorities have designated Ms. Tundra Mishra, Corporate Relations Officer of JP Hospital, as the official point of contact for hospital-related information and medical updates. She can be reached at 9861934646 for verified information.
