Jharsuguda: An RPF personnel today saved a woman’s life with his prompt action. The woman was alighting from South Bihar Express while the train was leaving Jharsuguda station. Though the train was at a low speed, she was deboarding it against its motion.
Within a fraction of a second, she was pulled by the moving train and thrown towards the track (in the space between the platform and the train).
However, to her good fortune, an RPF jawan spotted the mishap and rushed to her rescue. With the help of another youth, the jawan managed to pull her off the tracks and saved her life. The woman left the station unhurt, thanks to the prompt action of the RPF personnel.
