Bhubaneswar: A utility corridor will be developed by Gopalpur Port and Tata Steel SEZ in Gopalpur in Ganjam district. The State Government has sanctioned Rs 140 crore for the 3 km long and 60-meter wide utility corridor, reports stated.
The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has invited tender for the construction of this proposed corridor, which will facilitate seamless transportation of raw materials and manufactured goods from Gopalpur port to the Tata Steel SEZ.
The proposed utility corridor, expected to be completed in 18 months, will boost industrialization in Ganjam district, reports added.
