**Bhubaneswar:** In order to ensure a free and fair election, Odisha Police along with other law enforcement agencies have conducted various drives across Odisha and in this process seized cash amounting to Rs 15,47,610 and liquor worth over Rs 1.34 crore.
Till date 4,153 non-bailable warrants have been issued across various districts of Odisha and 20,291 persons taken into preventive detention under section 107/116 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
While as many as 3,445 gun licence holders across the State surrendered their weapons before the concerned district administration, around 80 illegal firearms have been seized along with 132 kilogram of explosive materials.
For use of their vehicles in violation of Model Code of Conduct, 281 cases have been registered against vehicle owners across State.
The Control Room opened by Odisha State Election Commission has till date received 295 calls regarding queries and grievances, out of which 149 have been transferred to the respective districts for further solution.
The Voter Helpline 1950 has till date received 11,423 calls. Similarly, 285 grievances have been received through the Citizens’ Vigil (C-Vigil) app, out of which 264 grievances have already been redressed.
