Bhubaneswar: In a major drug bust, officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized ganja worth approximately ₹8 crore at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the contraband was smuggled in via an IndiGo flight from Thailand. The DRI intercepted the ganja during routine checks at the airport. A passenger from Gujarat, suspected to be involved in the smuggling, has been detained for questioning.
Authorities confirmed that further investigation is underway to uncover the full extent of the smuggling network and identify any additional suspects or accomplices.
