Bhubaneswar: Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat today arrived in Bhubaneswar to take part in the seven-day national meet of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal-the RSS’s highest policy-making body.
The RSS chief was given a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here. Bhagwat was welcomed at the airport by RSS’s Pradesh Sangh Chalak Samir Mohanty, Kshetriya Karyawahak Gopal Mahapatra, Kshetra Karyawahak Pradip Joshi and Union Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi and others.
“RSS’s Sarsanghchalak has come. I as a Swayam Sevak have come here to welcome him. This is not a meeting of the Sangh. This is a meeting of intellectuals. Anyone with any political affiliation can attend this meeting. All can participate,” informed Sarangi talking to reporters at the airport.
“It has nothing to do with politics,” he added.
Sarangi clarified that it was not a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Bhagwat will be addressing intellectuals from the State this evening.
