Bhubaneswar: All the members of SAI International Education Group have decided to extend their contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to fight COVID-19.
SAI Founder and Advisor to Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo in message today said that though the State Government taking measures to keep everyone safe, people are unable to feel or visualise the financial crisis ahead.
As COVID-19 is taking its toll on businesses, trades and industries, it will also pose a lot of financial strain on the State Government. Therefore, he requested every person to generously contribute to the CMRF.
As a first step, all the staff members of SAI have agreed to contribute one day’s salary to the CMRF. All his students have agreed for the school to donate one day’s fee to the fund. In addition, Dr Sahoo and his wife Silpi Sahoo, Vice Chairperson of SAI International, will donate their one month salary each to the CMRF.
Dr Sahoo has also made a sincere appeal to every individual to make judicious use of resources and not panic in these impending adversaries. He said that Indians will lead by example and beat every crisis and urged everyone to Stay at Home, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy.
