Bhubaneswar: Sayantan Dhar of SAI International School has become the State Topper in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Advanced, 2019, the result of which was declared on Friday. He has secured All India Rank 51.
Sayantan had scored 99.961 percentile in JEE Mains, held in January this year. The brilliant boy who believes in target-oriented preparation, looks forward to pursue Computer Science Engineering in IIT Mumbai. He had scored a total of 94.2% in the Class XII Board Examination, with 95% each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and 91% in Physical Education.
He is the son of Swapan Dhar, Assistant General Manager in SBI, Bhubaneswar and Manisha Dhar, Housewife. Earlier the young boy had scored AIR 63 in KVPY, State Rank 1 in Chemistry Olympiad, 2018, State Rank 3 in Physics Olympiad 2018, State Rank 3 in Astro Olympiad and also is a NTSE achiever.
Chairman of the school Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo congratulated Sayantan for his success and wished him best for his future.
