Sambalpur: The earlier printed question papers will not be used and fresh questions papers will be set by the university’s professors here for the remaining exams which will be despatched through email to the colleges just one hour before the exam, informed Prof Sanjib Mittal, Vice Chancellor of Sambalpur University.
Prof Mittal said that question papers will be downloaded and photocopied at the examination centre and distributed to the students and thus help prevent question paper leaks.
The VC informed that an enquiry has been ordered to probe the question paper leaks, apart from the filing of an FIR with the police. The help of Cyber Police has been also sought, the VC added.
He said that the leaked question papers of Physics were set by a professor of an aided college. The concerned professor and the principal of the concerned college have been summoned, he added.
Prof Mittal said that stringent action will be taken against the wrongdoer.
While the question paper of Education (Hons) of Sambalpur University was leaked on Thursday, the question paper of Physics for Plus III Final Year was leaked today.
Both the exams have been cancelled by the university authorities and have been scheduled for fresh dates. While the Education paper exam has been scheduled for July 19 the exam for Physics paper has been scheduled for July 20, according to university authorities.
