Sambalpuri Singer Ruksana Bano Dies At AIIMS, Family Alleges Murder

Bhubaneswar: Popular Sambalpuri singer Ruksana Bano passed away while undergoing treatment at for her illness at the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday night.

Ruksana fell ill while shooting in Bolangir some 15 days back and was first admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bhavanipatna. Later, she was admitted to a private hospital as her condition became critical. As her condition deteriorated, Ruksana Bano was admitted to AIIMS in Bhubaneswar. She died last night while undergoing treatment.

It is suspected that she succumbed to scrub typhus, but her family has accused another Sambalpuri singer of slow poisoning her to death.
