Puri: Attempting another world record on the eve of Christmas, renowned sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik through an installation of 30-ft-high and 100-ft-wide Santa Claus in sand along with ten thousand plastic bottles has given everyone a reason to cheer.

He tweeted, “Let’s get #readytochange and #BeatPlasticPollution” and shared magnificent images of his magnum opus. His initiative has been appreciated by several persons who have shared images of his sand art and hailed the gesture. Meanwhile, several persons stopped by the sand art and clicked selfies with creation and expressed their happiness in witnessing something so unique.

In 2016, the sand sculptor had scripted world record by creating 1,000 Santa Claus in sand at the Puri beach on the occasion of Christmas.
