Bhubaneswar: As the world welcomed the New Year with grand celebrations, renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik unveiled a breathtaking 100-foot-long and 45-foot-wide sand sculpture at Puri Beach, conveying a pressing environment-related message.
His artwork, which reads ‘Happy New Year, Go Green’, is a clarion call for global environmental action, emphasizing the urgent need to combat climate change.
In addition to this, Pattnaik created a stunning and intricate artwork of Lord Jagannath. The sand art features beautiful floral detailing along with the message ‘Jai Jagannath 2025.’
Pattnaik came up with this stunning sand art with the help of students from his sand art institute.
Taking to his account, Pattnaik posted the pictures of his sand art with the caption: “Jai Jagannath, On the (English) New Year,May Mahaprabhu’s grace be upon all! My Sand art on Mahaprabhu Jagannath’s Padma Vesha at Puri beach.”
Pattnaik, a Padma awardee and internationally acclaimed sand artist, has consistently utilized his craft to raise awareness about critical environmental issues. His latest masterpiece is a testament to his commitment to inspiring positive change and serves as a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to protect the planet.
