Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a breathtaking sand art on Puri Beach, Odisha, to commemorate the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the occasion of Vijayadashami Utsav.
Through his sand art, Pattnaik paid tribute to the swayamsevaks who have tirelessly served the country for over a century and honoured the RSS’s legacy, highlighting its contributions to the nation.
He tweeted: “100 years of selfless service to the nation. On the centenary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Vijayadashami Utsav, heartfelt wishes to all patriots. Sharing my sand art from Puri Beach, Odisha. Let’s carry forward the spirit of selfless national service.”
Talking to the media, Pattnaik said, “The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was founded on Vijayadashami in 1925, and since its inception, dedicated swayamsevaks have worked as swayamsevaks, serving the nation. Over the past century, the RSS has earned global recognition for its selfless service to India. To commemorate this milestone, we’ve created art celebrating the tireless efforts of swayamsevaks who’ve devoted themselves to serving the country for 100 years, marking the RSS’s completion of a century on this Vijayadashami.”
