Puri: The Chandrayaan-3 mission is on schedule to attempt a soft landing on the Moon on Wednesday, August 23. After the crash landing of the Russian Luna-5, people are eagerly waiting to watch Chandrayaan-3.
Twelve students of the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute created a sand sculpture on Chandrayaan-3 on Tuesday with the message “Jai Ho ISRO” at Puri Beach. They have created a 6-feet high sand sculpture showing Chandrayaan-3 in space and a picture of the moon.
“As per the instructions and design of sand artist Sudarsan Pattanaik we created this sculpture to wish successful landing of Chadrayaan-3 on the moon,” said one of his students. Earlier, Sudarsan created a sand sculpture on Chandrayaan-3 at Puri Beach in Odisha. Sudarsan Pattnaik is currently in the USA to represent India at a cultural exchange programme.
