Cuttack: Savitri Ratho was sworn in as the judge of Orissa High Court by Chief Justice Mohammad Rafiq, today.
With her appointment, the number of Judges in the Orissa High Court now stands at 16.
President of India Ramnath Kovind had passed the order, making her the third woman judge of the Orissa High Court after Amiya Kumari Padhi and Sanju Panda.
The Supreme Court Collegium after taking into consideration the material on record on January 22 approved the proposal for elevation of Savitri Ratho, Advocate as Judge of the Orissa High Court.
