Puri: The Niti Sub Committee of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) followed by a meeting of the Chhattisa Nijog today finalised the schedule for conduct of various nitis (rituals) on Dola Purnima at the Shree Jagannath Temple.
Dola Purnima falls on March 7 this year.
“Today we had a meeting of the Niti Sub Committee. Also, a meeting of the Chhattisa Nijog was held. We discussed on the smooth and timely conduct of nitis (rituals) during the upcoming Dola Purnima,” informed Chief Administrator SJTA Vir Vikram Yadav briefing reporters here today after the meeting.
Smooth darshan of the deities by the devotees during Dola Purnima was discussed, Yadav added.
Yadav said timely conduct of niti to be held at the Dola Bedi was also discussed and minor modifications in the timing as per the suggestion given by the Chhattisa Nijog was incorporated.
