Balasore: The Headmaster and two Class VII students of Nachhipur Ganja UG Upper Primary School were injured after receiving an electric shock on the school premises in Soro NAC of Balasore district on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the children were playing on the school premises when they came in contact with a live wire lying on the ground. The school Headmaster immediately rushed to rescue them and all three of them were injured. Locals first rushed them to Soro hospital from where they were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.
As per a teacher, some miscreants had attempted to steal the water motor of the school last night. They had cut the live wire and some nuts and bolts. The children had gone to collect the nuts and bolts when the incident occurred.
