Sambalpur: A school student sustained grievous injuries after falling down from the newly built flyover near Laxmi Talkies here today.
The injured student has been admitted to VIMSAR, Burla in a critical condition.
According to reports, the injured boy identified as Clifford Kujur of Sarlakani is a student of class X of a private school located in Sakhipara locality of the city.
Clifford who has sustained critical injuries on his face and chest after falling down from the flyover was immediately rescued by the locals was initially rushed to the district headquarters hospital here. He was later shifted to VIMSAR, Burla after his health condition deteriorated.
It is not yet clear how Clifford fell down from the flyover.
