School Student Who Fell Off Flyover In Sambalpur Succumbs To Injuries

Bhubaneswar: Clifford Kujur, the school student who accidentally fell off the newly-built flyover near Laxmi Talkies in Sambalpur town on Friday, succumbed to his injuries at the VIMSAR in Burla, while undergoing treatment on Friday night. Son of Binode Kujur, the 15-year-old boy had sustained grievous injuries on his chest and face in the accident.

Soon after the mishap, locals initially rushed Clifford to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Sambalpur and later shifted to the VIMSAR, Burla, as his condition deteriorated.

According to reports, Clifford, a Class X student of a private school in the Sakhipara area of the city, was a resident of Sarlakani.

However, it is not yet clear how Clifford fell down from the flyover. Police are investigating the matter.
