Bhubaneswar: This year, as part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2024, school students conducted a state wide campaign in association with Odisha Vigilance whereby they met senior government functionaries in all districts and urged them to take strong action against corruption to protect the future of the next generation.
On Sunday, the school students of Unit 6 High School in Bhubaneswar called on the Chief Minister and thanked him for prioritising action against corruption. They tied an integrity band (with a caption “Satyanishta Ru Samruddhi” inscribed on it) on Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and handed over an integrity card with a caption “Say no to corruption to protect future generation”.
Earlier, the students had also tied such bands on Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, DGP YB Khurania and other senior bureaucrats and police officers of Odisha and requested them to continue leading the fight against corruption.
Similarly, schools students across Odisha have tied bands and presented Integrity Cards to other officers in the districts urging them to strongly act against corruption for a better future of the next generation.
The activity was a part of the outreach by students to participate in the cause of awareness generation against the menace of corruption in public life.
