Bhubaneswar: In an unique gesture displaying brotherhood and compassion, students from a private school in the Capital City today tied 'Rakhi' to police personnel.

It was an informal ceremony which was organised at the Commissionerate of Police headquarters here. Young girls and boys gathered at Twin City Police Commissioner's office and tied Rakhis to the cops.

"It is an opportunity for which we feel blessed. The police personnel are our real Rakshaks, they protect us. So we pray for their health and well being," a student said.

The teachers and students of the school expressed their gratitude to Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty for the opportuntiy.
