Schools In Puri Municipality To Remain Closed Tomorrow For Navy Day Celebration

Bhubaneswar: All schools in Puri municipality will remain closed tomorrow on account of Navy Day celebration at Blue Flag Beach.

The district administration has decided to keep all schools closed due to the President’s visit to the Navy Day ceremony. The district administration has ordered the closure of all government and private primary, secondary and higher secondary schools in Puri municipality.

Moreover, Mother’s Public School, Prabhu Shree English Medium School, Chandra Shekhar Academy, St. Xavier School on the outskirts of the town will also be closed. However, the PARAKH exam conducted by NCERT will be held since it is a national level program.

It has been decided that the candidates can attend the exam at the centre between 7 am and 12 noon.

India Navy will show operational skills in the Bay of Bengal off Puri coast. 15 warships, 40 aircraft will display this war skill. President Droupadi Murmu will attend the mega event as the chief guest power of the Navy. All preparations have been made for the high profile event at the Puri Blue Flag Beach.
