Bhubaneswar: Schools for students of classes 6 and 7 in the State reopened on Monday while adhering to Covid-19 guidelines and other protocols.
School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash had earlier said that the physical classes for classes 6 and 7 will commence in the first phase.
The Minister stated that the reopening of schools for the students of classes 1 to 5 is under the active consideration of the government in view of the fall in Covid-19 cases.
Worth mentioning, the State government has allowed the resumption of classes in the physical mode for the students of classes 11 and 8 from October 21 and 25 respectively.
The schools for the students of classes 10 and 12 have been reopened in the State from July 26 this year.
