**Keonjhar:** With the death of one more dengue patient here on Friday, the toll in the State reached two this year.
The deceased has been identified as Ratani Karua (60), a resident of Karua Slum of Ward No- 4 in Barbil area of the district.
Karua was working as a sweeper in Barbil hospital.
According to reports, Karua was first admitted to Barbil hospital and she was shifted to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital on Friday when her condition worsened.
It may be recalled here that the first dengue death in Odisha this year was reported from Keonjhar district on Thursday when Sukramani Sandil of Colony No-3 of Barbil Municipality succumbed to the disease at the Barbil Community Health Centre (CHC).
The number of dengue patients admitted to Cuttack SCB stood at 52 on Saturday, 20 from Cuttack, SCB Emergency Officer Dr Bhubanananda Moharana informed.
The Cuttack Collector visited SCB to take stock of the situation.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak on Friday took stock of the situation at Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital, Keonjhar DHH and Barbil CHC.
Even special dengue wards have also been opened in the Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) and Barbil Community Health Centre (CHC) as the district has been worst affected.
