Cuttack: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian on Thursday visited the Chandi Temple in Cuttack and held a discussion with the stakeholders over the issues pertaining to the development of the temple.
Pandian was accompanied by Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh, and other government officials.
Chayani informed that the temple Trustee and Endowment Inspector apprised Pandian about the existing development plan and issues of the temple. He was also briefed about the parking, waterlogging, and other issues.
Pandian advised the Collector and other officials to hold a discussion with all the stakeholders and draft a plan for the development of the Chandi Temple.
A master plan for the improvement of the temple and other development works will be prepared within 7 days and submitted to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for approval.
It is worth mentioning that the Chandi Temple in Cuttack is a symbol of the devotion and faith of lakhs of devotees. The Chief Minister has given clear instructions for the development of the temple.
