Section 144 Clamped In Jeypore Sub-Division

Jeypore: The district administration has imposed Section 144 in Jeypore Sub-Division area in view of possible breach of peace, law and order situation.

The restrictions will be in force between 3 pm and 9 pm from April 13 to 20 in Jeypore.

As per the office order, public gatherings of more than two persons or any effort to create public nuisance to prevent public tranquillity and peace will be considered as the unlawful within the jurisdiction of Jeypore Sub-Division.

Jeypore Sub-Collector Bedabara Pradhan passed the order under section 144(1) CrPC for immediate prevention of such nuisance and safeguard of the life of the general public.
