Bhubaneswar: A security lapse unfolded on Monday when an unknown youth rushed towards Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi with a piece of paper at Utkal University, prompting swift action from security personnel.

The CM, who was attending a National Youth Day celebration, was reportedly startled by the sudden approach.

The youth was immediately stopped and detained by security staff. Authorities are investigating the incident, which has raised concerns about security protocols. The swift response of the security team prevented any harm, and the CM continued with the programme.
