Boudh: Security personnel in Boudh district have uncovered two Maoist dumps and seized a large cache of explosives and articles.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Special Operations Group (SOG) and the District Voluntary Force (DVF) in the Kanapa and Kuakumuda areas of the Manamunda police station limits.
The seized materials include seven detonators, electric wires, mobile phones, mobile chargers and other Maoist articles. The operation is a significant blow to the Maoist organization, which has been active in the region for several years.
According to reports, the Maoist organization, KKBN Division, has been operating in Boudh district for some time. The security personnel have been conducting operations in the area to flush out the Maoists and restore peace in the region.
The two Maoist dumps were busted during a special operation launched by SOG, DVF and BD squad in Bahabalakhol Reserve Forest area under Manamunda police station limits in Boudh district on Thursday.
