Boudh: A security guard engaged at a railway construction project near Khuntia Pada Railway Bridge in Odisha’s Boudh beat another security guard to death on Sunday night. According to reports, the accused security guard surrendered before the police after committing the crime.
The deceased security guard has been identified as Ranjan Pradhan, a resident of Rautbahal village in the district.
The accused, identified as Prakash, is a native of Khuntia Pada village.
The police have arrested the accused security guard and are interrogating him to ascertain the reason behind the crime. However, initial reports suggest that the two security guards had a dispute regarding the sale of iron scrap from the railway lines.
