Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS Officer Gavali Parag Harshad has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, On Friday.
The Personnel & Training Department’s Deputy Secretary has issued a letter to the Odisha Chief Secretary in this regard.
“The 2013-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer Gavali Parag Harshad was appointed as the Private Secretary to Jual Oram at the level of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry Of Tribal Affairs for 5 years”, read the letter.
Accordingly, the Odisha Chief Secretary has asked to immediately relieve him of his duties with instructions to take up his new assignment.
The 2013 batch officer is currently serving as Sundargarh Collector. Earlier, he was posted as Kalahandi Collector.
