Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Monday appointed IPS officer RP Koche as the Director of Intelligence. Koche replaced Lalit Das who has been posted as the Officer on Special Duty, in the Home Department.
Das, a 1992-batch IPS officer held the post of Director, Intelligence, Odisha Police for a period of 10 months. Koche, a 1993-batch IPS officer is the Additional DGP, Odisha State Armed Police. He will hold the additional charge of Director (Intelligence), a notification by the Home Department stated.
