Senior IPS Officers Lalit Das, Sapna Tewari Promoted To DG Grade

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today promoted 1992 batch IPS officer Lalit Das and Sapna Tewari of the same batch to grade of DGP.

“In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016, Lalit Das, IPS (RR-1992) is promoted to the grade of DG of police in IPS in Level-16 of Pay Matrix and is posted in-situ until further orders,” a notification issued by General Administration & Public Grievance Department stated.

Sapna Tewari, IPS (RR-1992) who is on Central Deputation is allowed proforma promotion to the grade of DG of police in IPS in Level-16 of Pay Matrix, the notification added.
