**Bhubaneswar:** The Saheed Nagar police arrested a 21-yr-old youth named Nishikant Kar for allegedly threatening his girlfriend to make her sex video viral after she broke her relationship with him. On investigating, the police found several such videos of different girls from his mobile phone.
The police arrested the youth after one of her girlfriends lodged a complaint with the police as he had started to blackmail her with one of her sex videos.
Notably, the girl was in relationship with the accused for the past few years. He had developed physical intimacy with her on the pretext of marrying her soon. But he had shot those moments clandestinely. Few days back, the girl had a quarrel with the boy leading to their break-up. But the boy started blackmailing her threatening to make her sex videos viral.
The girl filed a complaint after which the police nabbed the accused boy Nishikant. On investigating, they found several such videos of several girls in the memory of his phone.
Nishikant originally hails from Gop of Puri district and was living in a rented accommodation at Laxmisagar area of the capital city Bhubaneswar.
He is being forwarded to court on Monday.
