Service Roads Restricted For Buses Using NH 16 In Bhubaneswar, Rs 1,000 Fine For Violators

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate of Police have imposed restrictions on movement of buses on the service roads along NH 16 passing through the city.

According to a notification issued by the Commissionerate Police, the buses have been directed not to ply through Acharya Vihar and Vani Vihar chowks.

“All line buses coming from Baramunda Bus Stand on NH 16 towards Cuttack shall avail the flyover starting from the Crown Hotel square upto Satsang Vihar square,” a press note issued by the Twin City police read.

Violation of the order is an offence and punishable under the Odisha Urban Police Act 2003. Any violation in this regard will penalised upto Rs 1,000, the order added.
