The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here said that heavy rain is likely to lash several areas of Odisha for four days from July 25 under the influence of the low pressure.
The IMD has issued a yellow warning for heavy rainfall in at least 10 districts of the state from tomorrow. “Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Bolangir,” said the IMD. These districts are likely to receive 7cm to 11cm of rain for four consecutive days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of south Odisha and at many places over the remaining districts of the state.
