Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the north Andaman Sea & neighbourhood around September 29 and a low-pressure area is likely to form over the region under its influence during the subsequent 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midday bulletin on Monday. At the same time, it said that Southwest Monsoon has started withdrawing from parts of southwest Rajasthan on September 25 against its normal date of withdrawal from southwest Rajasthan of September 17.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha.
