Balasore: Balasore police have busted a sex racket operating in several parts of the district with the arrest of 13 persons.
According to reports, these persons were arrested during raids at different places in the district including Basta and Singla.
Young women involved in the flesh trade have been rescued and handed over to their respective families.
The young women involved in the racket mainly hailed from local areas and neighbouring West Bengal.
The police had earlier arrested the mastermind of the racket Linkan Sahu.
