Rourkela: Police on Tuesday busted a sex racket operating in the Jagda area under Jhirpani police limits of Rourkela city. During the raid police have rescued five women. It has detained five persons including a woman, who were allegedly working as pimps.
According to reports, the raid by a special police squad alongside officers from Jhiripani Police Station, was conducted under the direction of Rourkela Superintendent of Police (SP) Nitesh Wadhwani.
All five detained individuals were earlier arrested for running similar sex rackets in the area. The detained persons are being interrogated at Jhiripani Police Station.
