Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Odisha will soon join the league of developed states in the country. He stated that the state will become the richest province by optimally using its natural resources.
Addressing a public meeting, Shah claimed that the BJP government will usher in development in Odisha, which “remained neglected” during previous regimes. He highlighted the state’s potential, citing its rich mineral resources and vast coastline.
Shah praised the people of Odisha for giving the BJP an absolute majority, saying it will enable the “double-engine government” to bring change. He emphasized the cooperative movement, promising to promote the dairy industry in Odisha, boosting rural economy and empowering women.
He inaugurated IFFCO’s sulphuric acid plant in Paradip in Jagatsingpur district to boost fertiliser production capacity.The new plant at Paradip will help enhance the fertiliser production capacity of IFFCO and achieve the goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’,
Shah launched several other projects related to cooperative sector and dairy development, aiming to enhance farmers’ income and rural economy. The event was attended by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other dignitaries.
