Bhubaneswar: A shop owner was attacked by some miscreants following an argument near Botanda in Sundarpada area of Bhubaneswar on Friday night.
Reportedly, the victim identified as Sipu Behera was in his shop when two miscreants arrived and bought some items. Later, an argument broke between them over some issue.
As the matter escalated, the miscreants attacked Sipu with sharp weapons and fled from the spot. Sipu sustained severe injuries on his hands.
He was rescued by locals and reportedly admitted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. Previous enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the attack.
