Balasore: A shop owner murdered a man allegedly over the construction of a drain at Mandal Baza under Town Police Station in Balasore district on Tuesday night.
A quarrel had reportedly broken out between the deceased identified as Rajesh Panda and the accused Madha Padhi over the construction of a drain in front of the latter’s shop.
As the situation escalated, Madha hit Rajesh on the head with a heavy object used in the construction of the drain. After Rajesh’s death, Madha turned himself in at the Town Police Station.
