Puri: Shree Jagannath Sena on Wednesday filed a complaint at the Singha Dwara police station here accusing the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administrator (SJTA) for the death of a devotee Rajendra Prasad Sahani on Tuesday.
Sena’s convenor Priya Darsan Pattnaik in the complaint filed with the Singha Dwara police blamed the mismanagement in the entry and exit of devotees in the Shree Jagannath Temple for the death of Sahani.
Patnaik has alleged that Sahani after standing in the queue for hours from 1.00 PM to 5.00 PM under the scorching sun and mismanagement in the entry and exit of devotees inside the temple suffered a heart attack which led to his death.
He demanded that the SJTA Chief Administrator be booked under 304, 302, 304 (A), 34, & 120 (B) sections of the IPC.
