Bhubaneswar: The land records of the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri are to be digitised, informed Vir Vikram Yadav, Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) after a meeting of the Shree Jagannatha Temple Managing Committee today.
Yadav said the process will be initiated after receiving the Government’s approval and a database of all the land records will also be prepared.
The status of the Shree Mandir Adarsh Gurukul Society for the children of servitors and the housing project for servitors were also discussed at the meeting.
Yadav said that the application for registration of Adarsh Gurukul Society has been filed with the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Odisha. The IGR has sought some compliance and it has been met.
Birla Foundation, which will be running the Adarsh Gurukul, will be invited to the next Management Committee meeting to hold a discussion on the master plan.
Yadav also informed that a tender for the boundary wall construction in the first phase of the housing project for servitor families at Harachandi Sahi will be opened on October 6. The committee has ordered to speed up the work on the project.
