Baripada: The Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district reopened for tourists on Tuesday after a gap of four and a half months.
According to official sources, tourists can book tickets between 6 am to 9 am. For overnight stay at Similipal , tourists can book guest houses at www.ecotourodisha.com.
Visitors can enter the Similipal Tiger Reserve from two gates – Kaliani gate in Jashipur block under Karanjia (North) Wildlife Division and Pithabata gate under Baripada Territorial Forest Division.
As many as 35 and 25 tourist vehicles will be allowed from the Kaliani and Pithabata gates, respectively.
