Bhubaneswar: A sensational twist has emerged behind a car plunging from the Shishu Bhawan Chhak overbridge in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the vehicle belonged to a resident of the Brahmagiri area and was being driven by Satyabrata Pradhan, a driver by profession.
According to police investigations, Satyabrata had come to Bhubaneswar to meet his girlfriend, who works at a parlour in the Chandrasekharpur area. Allegedly, during this meeting, the girlfriend slit his throat and killed him. Police have detained the accused girlfriend and are questioning her in connection with the murder.
Upon learning of Satyabrata’s death, the car owner reportedly arrived at the scene with another driver and tried to flee with the vehicle but it crashed down from the bridge.
It is suspected that while attempting to drive the car away, it lost control and fell off the overbridge.
The incident, which initially appeared as a road accident, has now unfolded into a chilling murder mystery.
