Bhubaneswar: The State Government-formed Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the sensational Pari murder case needs at least two weeks to come to a conclusion in the case, said the probe panel’s chief Arun Bothra on Saturday.
After attending a high-level meeting chaired by Odisha DGP Abhay at his camp office in Bhubaneswar, Bothra said, “It has been only 4 to 5 days since the formation of the SIT. Everything will be clear within two weeks.”
Bothra further said that the team is working very hard. He is also concerned about his responsibility as Odisha Government, the DGP and the people of the State have placed their faith in him.
Yesterday, the SIT conducted a raid on prime suspect Babuli Nayak’s house in presence of Bothra while the SIT chief himself quizzed Nayak and his son.
