Six Killed Due To Lightning Strike In Separate Incidents In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as six persons were killed due to lightning strikes in Odisha in separate incidents on Wednesday.

Firstly, two labourers died due to lightning at Mahulapada under Sadar police station in Dhenkanal, while two others were injured. The incident took place while they were working in stone mines.

Another youth died while working in his land at Kanlapada under Delanga block in Puri. In a separate incident, another youth faced a similar consequence in Haladiapada under Harichandanpur block in Keonjhar, while another sustained injuries and was admitted to the hospital.

In another incident, a woman was struck by lightning while working in a field at Kanjia village under Choudwar block in Cuttack district.
