Bhadrak: Six persons of a family at Gabasahi under Bhadrak town police limits had a narrow escape after their house was set on fire by some miscreants over an alleged land dispute late Wednesday night.
Reportedly, the house owner Sudarsan Das woke up at around 3 am when he found the house full of smoke. He alerted his wife Binapani Das and other family members. All of them tried to get out but the door was locked.
Finally, they broke the window and escaped from the fire. However, the house including property worth lakhs of rupees was charred in the flames. The family has lodged a complaint in this regard at the Town Police Station.
Based on the complaint, police have picked up two persons for further interrogation.
